I’m a songwriter and producer, based at Metropolis in West London, and currently living in Winchester.
I started out in the band The Reflection AOB, writing and playing keys/guitar, and was signed to Stanley House Music back in 2000.
Early credits include the acclaimed Heroes of Kingston album (Jamdown UK), where I had the privilege of working with some of reggae’s original greats, plus UK and international chart success with FYA and Smujji (EMI/Def Jam UK).
I worked on a number of in-house projects at Stanley House Studios, where I really got to grips with production and audio engineering. More international writing success followed, Andrew & Wada Blood’s One & Only reaching number 1 in Jamaica, then in 2015 I moved to Metropolis.
In addition to solo work, I have recently collaborated with Spragga Benz and POI in Jamaica, and have just written the winning single for Luyolo in SA Pop Idol 2019, charting at number 2 in South Africa.
Television credits include themes for MTV Base’s long-running Chart Show, and Magnum King & Queens of Dancehall, in Jamaica. 2020 will see my music being used for BBC1’s new series of Death In Paradise.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many great artists and producers over the years: Alton Ellis, Rico Rodriguez, Denis Alcapone, Owen Gray, Derrick Morgan, Winston Francis, Dave Barker, BB Seaton, Tubby T, FYA, Smujji, Mighty Diamonds, Louchie Lou & Michie One, Jazzwad, Skatta Burrell, Fraser T Smith, Ce’cile, Keisha White, Alex Da Kid, Gin Gin, Nick Fury, Deewaan, Kevin Simm, James Walsh, Andrew & Wada Blood, Spragga Benz, Persons Of Interest…. and look forward to working with many more in the future.
